UFO- Last Orders Kentish Town Forum
That my fellow Who rockers was some gig.

Anyone make it? They played the Enpire the night before.

Think it's only the second time I've caught them live, first being
At Knebworth in 84.

As with most heavy rock acts it's all about the artillery and Vinnie Moore is superb guitarist, but it's the singer Phil Moog who still can belt out those classics at 70. Got a good set of pipes on him and real clarity. Plus he's a funny fucker.

I fancied watching them at the Forum, but it wasn’t to be. A very decent band - incredibly underrated. RIP Paul Raymond.

I did the Shepherds Bush gig.
Loved it, but did spend all night wishing Schenker and Pete Way were up there.

Christ, it'll be remarkable if all those people are still alive come August!

I presume the festival is named with a heavy dose of irony?

Shepherd’s Bush Was a great gig.
Shame there not going to be about no more.
Few old bands I like to see live no longer tour.
Ufo, mountain, etc....

Phil Moog the synth player or Phil Mogg the UFO vocalist....?

I saw them many times in the 70's - Southend Kursaal, Dagenham Roundhouse, Southend Queens Hotel.....best when touring the Phenomenon album with Michael Schenker.

YC

Had a ticket.

Lethargy took hold.

Couldn't be arsed to go to Kentish Town.

Had a curry in Hampton instead.

Glad it was a good one.

50 Years is not a bad innings for a band that were partial to a pint or two.
